VIDEO Art Exhibit: Taking Charge of the Radio Waves

This exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is not in oils or watercolors, but in projectors, cameras, radio-electric scanners, antennae, radios and eight channel sound. We shot a short video.

Rafael Lozano-Hemmer created “Frequency and Volume Relational Architecture 9” in protest to the Mexican government shutting down pirate radio stations. Your projected shadows take charge of the radio spectrum.
