Oktoberfest starts in September, this weekend in fact. I went to Oktoberfest a couple of years ago and did not have a beer. Nope, not one biermadchen’s tear of frothy brew, a sacrilege for which I will surely rot in some Faustian teetotler’s hell. But I did witness something that I had read about but never believed I would see.
