You are in for a Blogging
Welcome to the Connected Traveler weblog, blog, feed, cloud, whatever you want to call it. After watching our web server being pounded by links to our scholarly screeds on such subjects as flea circuses, 16 ton automomous robots in the desert and mad Italian poets
we have decided to flog our own blog. The Connected Traveler is one of
the Web’s first travel-oriented sites, a premier Cool Site of the Day,
a runner up for Best of the Web and the subject of scores of stories
from Time Magazine, USA-Today, the BBC, CBS and other journals of good
and ill repute. Lonely Planet
calls The Connected Traveler “Armchair Travel at its Best.” We are also
operate the first 24 hour per day world culture and travel and
culture radio station in both MP3 and Windows Media and were the first travel-oriented site to put HDTV (high definition TV) files on the Web.
Our subject matter will not be limited to travel. We have been know to go as far astray as essays on nanotechnology and our section on the environment and sustainable tourism is cited as a resource by USA-Today and National Geographic.
We are also into food, wine, weird science and the madness of US and
world politics. So, if are RSS-enabled, subscribe. If you don’t know
what RSS means, you are not alone. If you don’t want to mess with it, you can always come back here to The Connected Traveler and read an old fashioned web page.
